Commercial or blended Da Hong Pao, which is a mixture of purebred Da Hong Pao, Zhou Gui, Shuxian and other Wuyishan varieties, with a balanced aroma and taste, and designed to demonstrate the generalized appearance of the cliff tea.

The homeland of the famous variety is a region in the eastern province of China Fujian. In the north of the province, the Wuyishan Nature Reserve is located with an area of more than 50,000 hectares, where the legendary tea was born.

Tasting Notes

Dry leaf color is brown, with burgundy and green shades. The aroma is clean, bright and slightly sweet, with a lot of olfactory associations. Something reminiscent of the aroma of old wine, fried crust of rye bread and dried fruits. Infusion color is from maroon to amber red. Taste is thick, rich, with a pronounced and pleasant astringency and a rich spicy aftertaste. After several brews, it becomes lightly sweet, with fruity notes.
