Description
Green tea flavored with jasmine flowers – a traditional Chinese type of tea with more than a thousand years of history. It is still very popular in the north of China and in large cities on the east coast. Fuzhou (Fujian) is considered the birthplace of jasmine tea.
Since the tea leaves for high-quality tea are harvested in spring, mainly in April, and jasmine blooms later (at least, summer flowers are considered the most fragrant), the production of jasmine tea is at least a two-stage process. Special attention is paid to the processing of tea raw materials: tea leaves are dried at a slightly lower temperature than usual, this operation takes longer and is carefully controlled, the goal is to maximize the fresh and sweet aroma.
