Description
Genuine whole leaf tea is packed into a biodegradable silk pyramid-shaped bag. This shape is chosen to allow tealeaf to fully expand when brewing.
The tea gained popularity in Western Europe by the end of the 18th century. The Chinese themselves called it “Pearl”, but the British and Dutch gave it the name “Pinhead Gunpowder” because the gray-green granules resemble gunpowder also invented by the Chinese. No chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or chemical fertilizers used to grow or process this tea after it is harvested. Instead, farmers use natural processes to create a sustainable tea crop.
Tea is great on a hot day. It is best to drink it in its pure form, with no milk or sugar added.
