Liquor is bright, clear, and transparent, with a very light yellowish-green color. The brewed leaves show a fresh, bright, and light green color. When touched with a finger, the leaves are thick but soft and elastic. Thin red line is seen at the main leaf vein which indicates the tea is made from the real Taiping Hou Kui cultivar. Flavor of the tea is fresh, bright, spicy-herbal with floral and nutty notes. The aroma is delicate, with a touch of spice.
